Obituary for Nicholaus Lavon Craig

Our Beloved Nicholaus Lavon Craig was born
September 20, 1986 to Sumorris Tucker and Dennis
Earl Craig. He was born and raised in Mobile,
Alabama. At the young age of thirty-six, Nicholaus
was tragically taken away from us on Wednesday,
September 21, 2022.
Nicholaus attended Murphy High School and was a
member of the graduating Class of 2005. His aspirations helped
him to earn an Associate Degree from Faulkner State Community
College in Bay Minette, AL. He also pursued a burgeoning career
as a designer and a dynamic photographer.
Nick was and continues to be loved by all of us. He is survived by
his mother, Sumorris (John) Tucker; his father, Dennis (Ann) Earl
Craig; brothers: Sedric (Zaneta), Gabriel and Zachardis Webb; three
nephews: Keshaun, Bryson and Zachary; a devoted partner, Manya
Jhingree; six aunts: Bettye, Suedilla, Equilla (Tony), Ronnette,
Priscilla (Bobby) and Mattie (Watson); four uncles; Jeremiah
(Bessie), Theodore (Lisa), Carl (Terrisetta) and David (Joan-Rose);
a host of cousins and friends; along with close friends and
confidents: PJ, Corey, Stephanie, Charles, Jazmine and Escobar.
Nick is remembered as the only “Batman” that will always be
relevant. He was also an unimaginably supportive, compassionate
and loving son, brother, boyfriend, best friend, friend, leader and
artist. Nick’s legacy is the epitome of what humanity should be,
and his legacy will continue to live on within all of our hearts, as
well as his photography and designs. His kindness, empathy,
rational, charismatic and driven personality was like none other, and
he is incredibly missed. Our Nick has been given his wings, and his
spirit will be with us always. Grace, mercy and blessings to you all.
