Novella Brye Horton, a native of Evergreen, Alabama, and a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, born August 20, 1928 departed this life on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. She was a longstanding member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church #1. Novella was preceded in death by her loving husband, Willie James Horton; son, Carl Horton; daughter, Lynn Seaborn; six sisters; and four brothers. Novella leaves to cherish her precious memories, a devoted, loving, and compassionate grandson, Terrell (Tiffany) Horton of Mobile, AL; grandson, Marcus Seaborn of Mobile, AL; one granddaughter, Carla Robinson of Mobile, AL; nine loving great grandchildren, Ozunique, Jeane, Kayla, Kiera, Teila, Orenthia, Jadis, Tristan, and Tinsley; one great-great grandson, Omari; three brothers-in-law, Robert Brye and Willie Clayton Brye of Mobile, AL; Eugene Brye of Evergreen, AL; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and two devoted, life-long friends, Patricia Hattaway and Felicia Green; and other relatives and friends.
