Orvester was a born and raise in Vinegar Bend, Alabama and a resident of Mobile, Alabama. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Betty Joiner, His grandparents,
Eugene and Mannie Lee Patton. Orvester was a 1973 graduate of Fruitdale High School. He enlisted in the Army in 1976 and was honorable discharged in 1979. He was an avid fisherman and love old cars.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted wife of twenty-two years: Jacklyn Joiner. Children: Miya Barnes,
Dekontee Allen, Mark Lucious, Clyde and Marques Porter and Raico (Kenyetta) Barnes. Siblings: Timothy (Anna) Joiner, Barbara Joiner Chapman, Lakeshia (Steve) Williams, and Tanisha (Billy) Kinsey, Devoted Mother-in-law, Leona Mosely, Aunt: Linda Wilson, Uncles: Melvin, Calvin, Norman Lee and Robert Patton. Grandchildren: Bryson, Olivia, Demarco, Keilani, Tyberias, Jaylyn, Javon, Janna, Jordan, Emma, Elliot and Jaxson.
Devoted friends: Ronnie Smith and Lewis Gulley and a host of other relatives, family and friends.
