Obituary for Patricia Ann Nodd Lucky (Nodd)

Born August 13, 1950 the second child born to George and Catherine Nodd. Patricia was a proud native of Mobile, Alabama. She subsequently departed this life on Monday, February 4, 2019.
She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and baptized at St. Paul A.M.E. Church. A gifted student in the word, Patricia graduated with a Doctorate Degree in Theology and a Master of Divinity from E.L. White Theological Seminary. Later she was licensed to preach the gospel under the direction of Dr. Netha Johnson where she was a faithful serving member at The Church of the Good Shepherd. She served as Director over the Missions Department as well as an Associate Minister.
She was a loyal and dedicated Mother of two, Bradley Bernard and Roderick Edward Nodd. Patricia was a loving and nurturing grandmother & great-grandmother., mother-in-law, sibling and friend. One never had to guess or wonder about where her point of view stood.
Patricia was a very lively, loving and compassionate person. Her smile and outspokenness were infectious and could really light up a room. She loved Mardi Gras, good food, eating and family fellowships. A faithful community activist as a neighborhood watch, a honorary recipient from Harmon Community Center for her dedication and hard work among many other endeavors. She was a 1969 graduate of Lillie B. Williamson.
Patricia was preceded in death by parents George and Catherine Nodd. Her brothers George Jr. and Larry Nodd. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved sons Bradley (Lakeesha King) & Roderick (Rachel) Nodd Her adorable grandchildren Shanita, Devonte, Devin, Christopher, Tybrianna, Octaviuse, Torenzo. Great-grandchildren Princeton, Paisley, Landon & Nakoda. Her Sisters Kathleen (Albert) Moore, Glenda Nodd, Sheila (Stanley) Robinson & Valeria Nodd. Her brothers Anthony (Cheryl) Nodd & Kenneth (Cheryl) Nodd. One aunt Pauline Green and One uncle Claiborne Smith. 4 devoted god-daughters Cindy McSwain, Roshell & Chereau Ross and Christiana Young. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and devoted friends.
