LEGACY OF LIFE
RAYMOND ALPHONSE PHILLIPS
Raymond Alphonse Phillips affectionately called “RAYBO” “RENO”, a native of Mobile, Alabama. He was born March 21, 1945 and peacefully passed this life on May 3, 2022.
He was a faithful member of Stewart Memorial C.M.E. Church under the pastorship of Pastor Marvin Lue.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.A. Williams, Dorothy Phillips and his nephew Cedric Phillips-McCord and niece Tina Renee Phillips.
Raymond is survived by a son Sean Edwards and four (4) grandchildren of Desert Hot Springs, California., devoted sisters Betty Sigler, Terry Mccord (Samuel Mccord), Geraldine Phillips and devoted brother Johnny Phillips (Arlene Phillips). A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special and devoted friends Carolyn Taylor his neighbor, Verdell Walker, Willie O ’Cain his fishing partner, Winston James, Andrew Love, James Harvey in addition to Gloria Wilson and Marilyn Chapman.
He is especially missed by his neighbors in the Emerson Garden Senior Apartments and members of the Stewart Memorial McKelvey-Johnson Male Chorus.
