Obituary for Rebertha Shelton

Rebertha Shelton, a Mobile, Alabama resident, was born July 18, 1939 to Ephris Shelton and Hattie (Brooks) Shelton in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi. She made her transition on Friday, January 8, 2021.
Rebertha accepted Christ at an early age and was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She retired from Mobile Infirmary Hospital after thirty years of service.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ephris Shelton and Hattie (Brooks) Shelton; brother, J.C. Shelton; sisters: Cream E. Shelton Billups, Edna Shelton Flood, Yvonne Shelton Johnson and Lucy Shelton McGregory; and great-grandson, Elijah James Parker.
Rebertha leaves her memories to cherish to her four devoted children: Merrial Parker, Penny Shelton, Felicia Shelton and Roddrex (Adrienne) Shelton, Sr. all of Mobile, Alabama; eight grandchildren: Trinette Parker (Clendon) Pharr, James Parker, Jr., Summer T. Shelton, Bryant Shelton, Amber D. Shelton, Roddrex Shelton, Jr. all of Mobile, Alabama, Maya (Ryan) Farr of Tennessee and Angela (Jesse) Albares both of New York; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters: Dorothy (Jimmy) Lowe of Caledonia, Mississippi and Easter (Robert) Fenton of Columbus, Mississippi; four brothers: Ephris (Kattie) Shelton, Jr., Henry (Candace) Shelton of Indianapolis, Indiana, Van T. Shelton of Columbus, Mississippi and Andre (Sandra) Shelton of Jackson, Mississippi; special friends: Sallyann Ray and Alonzo Rigsby; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
