TO: Vicki, & The Nickels Family: As I reflect on the memories I have of Ruben are all sweet, sweet memories. He was an all-around guy known to many. That affectionate smile he had for everyone would light up any room. He was a caring person and if he was in your presence in the city, at an event, party, church etc. he always wanted to know if you are alright even when he was not on Security Duty. I have know him since I was a teenager and he has always exemplified the character of a Gentleman. A neat dresser and always looked like he had just stepped out of the shower. Ruben, you are sadly missed already on this earth, so Rest in Eternal Peace until we meet again!

My deepest sympathy to Nickels family and my friend Jonathan. May Rubell rest in peace in the arms of Christ. Heaven just got another down the bay football guy.
