Rev. William H. Parrish, Sr. was born January 18, 1935. He departed this life Friday, February 8, 2008. He was preceded in death by two sons, Rev. Raynold Parrish and Jermarcus Martin. He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife, Betty Parrish; three daughters, Brenda (Eddie) Simmons, Edith (Thomas) Harris, Theodore, AL., Marie (Gene) Hall, Decatur, GA.; four sons, Rev. William H. Parrish, Jr. of Theodore, AL. David (Sheila) Parrish, Waco, TX. Bobby (Karion) Parrish, Daphne, AL, Arthur (Nicole) Martin III, Huntsville, AL; daughter-in-law, Paula Parrish, Waco, TX. and Melissa Martin, Theodore, AL.; two brothers, Rev. James (Sarah) Parrish, Sr., Theodore, AL., Rev. Roosevelt (Vera) Patterson, Waco, TX.; five sisters, Leona (Robert) Alston, Solomia (Willie James) Conner, Alberta (Edward) Pruitt, Louvenia (John) Simmons, Bernice Henley, all of Theodore, AL.; 27 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. His remains will lie in state at the Fowl River Missionary Baptist Church where he served as Pastor for 25 years, on Friday, February 15, 2008 from 6:00pm. until 8:00p.m. Funeral services will be held at Mount Ararat Missionary Baptist Church on Washington Blvd. Theodore, AL. Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 1:00p.m. Rev. Howard Nelson, Pastor and Officiating Minister. Dignified and professional services entrusted to SMALL'S MORTUARY, 950 S. Broad St., Mobile.
