Pastor Robert Lee Brown was born on January 15, 1948 to Eloise Brown in Mobile, AL. Pastor Robert was raised as a kid at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church of Mobile. He later as a young adult transitioned to Revelation Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the Lyman Men’s Board. He accepted the call to full time ministry as the Youth Pastor at Mt Hebron Church Ministries. On October 25, 2009 Pastor Robert Brown stepped into the role of Senior Pastor of New Life Christian Fellowship (NLCF). He also served on the Board of Shrink the Divide Pledge group. Until his last breath he shepherded the (NLCF) family with passion. He was preceded in death by one sister, Sandra Jackson (James); two aunts: Jessie Smith (Willie) and Rebecca Cook (Joe Cook Sr.); and three uncles: Raymond Brown, Frank Brown and David Brown. He leaves behind a loving mother, Mother Eloise Brown; a beloved bride, Twana C. Brown; children: Michelle D. Bell (Eric) of GA, Sharon R. Tarvin (Ronald) of AL, Johnice K. Brown of GA, Sherise’ Colston of AL, LeMoyne Colston of LA and Tomorrow C. Spann (Mario) of LA; grandchildren: Joy J. Brown of AL, Xavier D. Brown of KS, Ronald Tarvin, Jr. of AL, Alexis Spears of AL, Carlton Campbell of AL, Alexandria Tarvin of AL, Ny’Asia Bell of GA, De'Anthony Colston of AL, Kayla Armstrong of AL and Camden Spann of LA; a host of greatgrandchildren; siblings: Patrica Clipper (John Sr.) of AL, Barbara Wheeler of AL, Grady Brown of AL, Shirley Blalock of AL and George Brown of AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
