Robert James Walker Sr.
Robert went to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday November 2, 2019. He was a fun loving person who loved and enjoyed life. He graduated from Central High School in 1968, and immediately joined the United States Army as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne where he was a Jump Master and was there for 22 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Annie Mae Holcombe Walker and Bery Walker Sr., four siblings: Elijah Holcombe, Rosie Walker Hargrove, Rev. David and Alonzo Walker. He is survived by his wife Regina K, Walker and three children: Robert Walker Jr, Cincinnati OH (Christine), Latrisha W. Brown (Scott) San Antonio TX. and Reginald,(Priscilla) Mobile, AL. along with five siblings Lillian A. Jordan, Chicago IL, Bery Walker Jr.,(Minnie), Marlon E. Walker, Rev. Melvin C. Walker (Latoni), Carlos Jerome (Evette) all of Mobile AL. and one sister-in-law Vivian Walker Detroit MI. He was blessed with four Grandchildren; Donovan Walker, Carlton and Candace Linguard, Britney Brown-Burns and one great grandchild Lyndon Walker.
He also has many adoring nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral Service will be Saturday November 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., Greater Allenville AOH Church, 2930 Whistler Ave Whistler, Ala. 36612.
