Obituary for Roxy Ann Robinson (Chestang)
Roxy Anne Chestang Robinson, born February 22, 1957, departed this life for eternal glory on Sunday,
June 26, 2022.
Lovingly known as “Foxy Roxy” and “Peaches” to her family and friends, Roxy enjoyed spending time
with her family and relaxing on her front porch with honey buns and Coca-Cola, her favorite snacks.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hamp R. Robinson Jr.; her son, Antonio Jamyle Robinson;
daughter-in-law, Jennica Robinson; her mother, Frances Chestang; her father, Joseph Green; a sister,
Vierniece Chestang; and two brothers, Joseph Chestang and Arthur “Bo” Chestang.
Roxy leaves to cherish her memory five children: Andre (Terrence Hall) Chestang, Marcel (Jerrell
Stadmire) Robinson, Tarnayl Robinson, Jason Chestang, and Anthony Robinson; 13 grandchildren:
Airianna Chestang, Adrian Chestang, Kevin Vinson II, Larcay McCovery, Jr, Tarneshia Robinson, Tremon
Robinson, Tyler and Tywuan Robinson, Darrius Nodd, Anthony Robinson Jr., Amya Robinson, Antonio
Robinson, and Aubrey Francis Robinson; four great-grandchildren: Damian Kennedy Jr., Willow Bass,
Alani Minefield, and My’Kayla Vinson; one sister, Deborah Pernell; and three brothers Clarence (Linda)
Chestang, Willie (Brenda) Chestang, and Roosevelt Greene; two devoted friends, Antoinette Massey and
Felicia Walker-Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
