.Roy Lee Sharp “Meanie” a resident of Prichard, AL was born
September 24, 1954 to the proud parents, Lepoleon and Annie Ruth
Sharp. Passed away peacefully at home at the age of sixty-five on
Sunday, September 13, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lepoleon and Annie Ruth
Sharp; brother, Jessie Sharp; and sister, Diane Sharp.
“Meanie” leaves to cherish loving memories, his sisters: Mary
Nichelson, Betty Law and Sharon Bettis; a brother, Melvin Sharp;
nieces: Brenda (Terrance) Whitfield, Sr., Michelle (Walter) Johnson,
Tyjuana (Kirk) Sullivan, Sharon Boone, Nikki (Willie) Williams, Toya
(Lavorn) Hodges, Jr., Erica Boone and Antionette Watson; nephews:
Martin Nichelson, Bernard (Rena) Boone, Aaron (Cindy) Boone, Byron
Sharp, Antonio Coleman, Marcus Coleman and Antonio Watson; a host
of great nieces, great nephews and great great nieces and nephews; sister
-in-law, Barbara Sharp; aunts: Beulah Sharp, Sarah Francis McCreary
and Johnnie Mae Creary; uncles: Joe Louis Sharp, Johnny Mack Sharp
and Issac Sharp, Jr.; cousins, other relatives and friends.
