During her time with the University of South Alabama, Sandra received an even better opportunity to work for Bishop State Community College. While at Bishop State, she decided to take advantage of the free tuition and enrolled in Bishop State’s School of Nursing. After passing the RN Exam, Sandra became a registered nurse in the State of Alabama where she worked as a RN for Cogburn Health & Rehab Center and finally Mobile Infirmary Hospital until retirement.

Whether it was attending a graduation for one of her granddaughters or visiting one of her sisters; Sandra loved and supported her family by attending as many family functions as possible no matter the location. She showered her kids, her grandkids, nieces, nephews, sisters & brother with unconditional love and support.
