Obituary for Sarah Young (Phelion)
Sarah Phelion Young, born November 23,1933, was a resident of Mobile, Alabama. Sarah was a kind-hearted and loving spirited person. Sarah was preceded in death by her husband Peter E. Young; mother, Maude Phelion and two sisters Annie Washington and Lula Norsworthy.
Survivors mourning her loss, yet still cherishing her loving memories includes: Two daughters Bettie Phelion, Yullie (Milton) Edwards; four grandchildren Sean Phelion,Nattoniea ( Mattie) Phelion, Courtney Phelion and Xavier (Krystin) Pettaway;twenty- three great grandchildren; thirty great-great grandchildren; one adopted son Tommie (Shalonda) Perine; a devoted cousin, Magee Bass, a devoted Goddaughter Rosetta Jackson and devoted friend Annie Pearl Mahan.
Visitation will be held on Wed, April 22, 2020 will be at Small’s Mortuary 950 Broad St Mobile Al from 1pm until 5pm. A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 23,2020 at Gethsemane North Cemetery 2850 Shelton Beach Rd.
