Obituary for Sedrick Simmons

Sedrick Keith Simmons-- a native and lifelong resident of Mobile. The only child of Ollie and Laura Simmons, born August 21, 1969 transitioned from this life to eternity Friday, March 23, 2007. He was educated in Mobile at St. Catherine Catholic School and a graduate of John L. Leflore High School in 1987. He received a BS Degree in Business Education from Mobile College now known as the University of Mobile. His memories will forever be cherished by his parents, Ollie and Laura Simmons, Mobile, five uncles, Charles Womack, Pensacola, FL., Leon Womack, William Singer and William Suazo all of Mobile and Jessie Womack, Toledo, OH., four aunts, Mary Johnson, Greenville, AL., Gennie V. McCastler, Annie B. Powell and Ruby G. Yelder all of Pensacola, FL.,godparents, Mr. and Mrs. Chester(Flora) Pickett and Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert DuBose, all of Mobile, four godchildren, two godsisters, Marla Brown, Niagara Falls, NY. and Wanda Richardson, Los Angeles, CA., godbrother, DeJuan Dees, Loganville, GA. and many devoted relatives, friends and co-workers. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary, Friday, March 30, 2007 from 1-8pm and Saturday, March 31, 2007 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour at First Hopewell Baptist Church, 664 Shelby St. Magazine Point. Interment Garden Mausoleum, Pine Crest. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Hopewell Baptist ChurchMemorial Fund in memories of Sedrick Keith Simmons.
