Sister Sherry Elizabeth Perryman, a native of Mobile, Alabama was born August 31, 1965 to the proud parents, Leroy James, Jr. and Elvira S. James. She departed this life for eternity on Friday, February 19, 2021.
Sherry attended Lillie B. Williamson High School and graduated in 1984. Sherry was a long-time employee of Walmart for over twenty years. Sherry was a faithful and dedicated member of Mount Zion Baptist Church #2. There she served in many positions: Vice President of the Combined Choir, a member of the Combined Choir, Treasurer of the Pastor Aide Board, Assistance Sunday School Superintendent, and wherever she was needed and she was very diligent.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Leroy James, Jr. and Elvira S. James.
Sherry leaves to cherish her precious memories, a loving and devoted husband of thirty-one years, Lavale L. Perryman; one loving daughter, Sherrelle E. James; two devoted sons: Lavelle L. James and Richard L. Perryman; two grandchildren who she thought the world of: Brandon L. Paige and Aniyah E. Paige; two devoted sisters: Candia M. James and Renee D. James; two loving brothers: Marvin L. (Jeanette) James and Sedric L. (Tina) James; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, one devoted cousin, Michele B. Conner, other relatives and friends.
