Mrs. Shirley Ann Edwards Kennedy was born in Mobile, AL. to Henry J. Edwards Sr. and Mary C. Edwards. She confessed Jesus Christ at an early age. She was a lifetime member of Union Missionary Baptist Church. She was Married to George Kennedy and three children were loved and cherished in this union.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Edwards Sr.; husband, George Kennedy; sister, Vivian Edwards; brother Henry J. Edwards Jr. and Grandchildren: Raven Hamilton and Keenan Russell.
She Leaves to cherish her memories three daughters: Latonja (Alvin) Turner, Latistia (Rodney) Hamilton, and Tameka Kennedy; one Brother, Timothy C. Edwards; one Sister, Ella (James) Sutton; seven grandchildren whom she loved and adored and three great-grand children; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and two devoted friends: Barbara Dumas and Brenda Chambers.
