Shirley Mae Owens - was born in Mobile, Alabama on March 22, 1950. She began her eternal life on March 29, 2007 with family to share her home going. Shirley was proceeded in death by her grandparents, the late Willie and Celeste Johnson; sister, Brenda M. Pledger; son, Terrance Joel Owens; and her grandson, Terrance Katarius Owens. She leaves to cherish her sweet loving parents, Travis and Juanita Pledger of Mobile, AL; siblings, five sisters and four brothers. Six devoted sons, Joseph (Ornicka) Owens of Orlando, FL; Anthony (Taneka) Owens of Peterman, AL; the late Terrance Joel (Shaneice) Owens of Peterman, AL; Eric Owens, Brandon Owens, and Kenneth Owens all of Mobile, AL. One devoted grandson, Joseph Owens, III of Orlando, FL. A host of loving nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, family and friends. Funeral arrangements will be done by "Small's Mortuary" located on South Broad Street in Mobile, AL 36603. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Mt. Hebron Ministries. Visitation will be at Small's Mortuary Monday, April 2, 2007 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. then funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2007, wake beginning at 10:00 a.m. and final services began at 12:00 p.m
