Obituary for Sylvia Osborne

Sylvia G. Osborne passed away on January 14, 2019 surrounded by her family.
Sylvia is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Osborne Sr.; her parents, Charlie Green and Sylvia Thompson Green; two brothers: Henderson and William Green; along with two sisters: Rose Irby and Amanda Clipper.

She leave to cherish one son, Roy Osborne, Jr. (Gwynne); one daughter, Sylvia O Tucker; one brother, Heron Green (Mary); two sisters-in-law: Ms. Bernadette Green and Ms. Northa Lee Edwards; one grandson, Gregory Dickinson (Monique); three granddaughters: Almeria E. Osborne, Keshia Osborne and Kenya Tucker; seven great-grandchildren: Natasha, Nyesha, Mykayla, Mykerrah, Mylaysia and Mylandrea; one great- grandson, Na’Kale Osborne and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Sylvia leave to cherish also one devoted niece, Ms. Irene Gardner; one devoted cousin, Ms. Corrie Battles; close friends: Ms. Maple, Ms. Dorothy Williams, Ms. Dorcine Pettway, Ms. Betsy Murphy; two great employers, as well as great friends: Mr. Mike and Mickey Gottfried.

Sylvia was a servant of the Lord; she grew up in the church and has been a member of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church for many, many years.
Sylvia was truly a soldier on the battle field for our Lord. She worked hard while it was day. She was very passionate when it came to helping the church, she was part of the Matrons; the Mission, the choir, the Pastor’s Aids and also a member of the Willing Workers Society. Sylvia was always ready to help where the need was great.
