Obituary for Sylvia Denice Sawyer Hayes

Sylvia Denice Sawyer Hayes 51, of Mobile, AL peacefully went to be with our Lord on Tuesday May 24, 2022. She was born on August 16, 1970 to the union of Sidney and Mary Sawyer.

Sylvia accepted Christ at an early age. She was a former member of Mt Sinai Missionary Baptist Church. She later became a faithful member of Faith and Prayer House COGIC.

Sylvia was a class of 1988 graduate of Lillie B Williamson High School. She later went on and obtained her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Sylvia worked for Mobile Community Action Head Start as a teacher for 23 years. She dedicated her life to helping others and she had a heart for teaching.

Sylvia is preceded in death by her mother Mary Duncan, Step Father William Duncan, Grandmother and Grandfather Willie and Maggie Jackson, devoted aunt Irene (Bobby) Springs, and Johnnie Jackson.
