Mr. Washington retired from the United States Army after 20 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents Walter White and Margaret McCants
Tom is survived by his wife of 61 years Margaret A. Vaughn Washington of Mobile; three daughters, Valerie Crawford, Tammara (Lance) DeLeston of Mobile; Karen (Ricardo) Chin of Columbia, SC; one son, Tommy (Sandria) Washington of Mobile; Nine grandchildren; Dana, Marcine, Jr. and Cynclair Crawford of Mobile; Jessica and Courtney Washington; Daja DeLeston all of Mobile; Jimmie Aaron and Jazmine Chin of Columbia, SC; Lance DeLeston, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL; Eight great-grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
