Obituary for Tyresea Powell (Billingsley)

Tyresea Billingsley Powell was born July 12, 1953 in Marion, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents Cleophus & Ludelia Billingsley and siblings Ralph and Geraldine. Tyresea departed this life to enter into eternal glory on Friday March 17, 2023.
Tyresea graduated from Westside High School in Marion, Alabama. She was a very skilled seamstress and cook. She pursued and achieved her goal of a degree in fashion merchandising. With a hard work mentality and entrepreneurial spirit, she started Compassionate Care, a provider of help and care for people in the comfort of their own home.
After giving her life to God, Tyresea became an adamant servant of Christ and became an elder then later was installed as pastor of her church A Better Way Ministry. She served faithfully until she was lead to join and serve Strong Tower Church Ministries International in Loxley, Alabama under the leadership of her son, Bishop Lee Andrew Powell, Jr. She served as an elder and mother in this church. She exhibited a strong love and comfort for all with whom she crossed paths.
She leaves to cherish her love and memories a daughter, Tamika Powell and a son, Lee Andrew (Delaine) Powell, Jr; her grandchildren, Darius, Trevius (Tweety), Jaret, Jada, Kaley, Caidin & Nylah, and honorary granddaughter, Jasmine Ford. Great grandchildren, Nehemiah, Tinslee, Teagan and soon to come, Everlee Reese. Her four sisters, Lenora, Barbara, Iva and Janice, two brothers, Clearthur and Jonathan, Aunt Doris and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
