Valaria Elaine Roberts was born August 9,1949 and departed this life on November 26, 2018. She was a graduate from Mobile County Training School, Class of 1967. After attending Bishop State College, and graduating from the University of a South Alabama, she was hired as a teacher by the Mobile County School System. Valaria was preceded in death by her father, Will Roberts, Sr.; mother, Della Mae Roberts; sister, Dorothy Gamble; and a brother, Will Roberts, Jr. Valaria leaves to cherish her memories one devoted son, Michael (Samona) Roberts; her two grandchildren, Michael, Jr and Mikayla Roberts; a brother, Raymond Roberts; two sisters, Valerie Burton and Jacquelyn (Samuel) Blair; a sister-in-law, Ada Roberts; a host of nephews, nieces, great-nieces, friends, and other relatives that will miss her dearly. Viewing and visitation will be held at Little Flower Catholic Church, 2053 Government Blvd, Mobile, AL on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 10:00am with a Catholic Vigil Mass to follow at 11:00am. A celebration of her life will be on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Chapel at Small's Mortuary with her resting place to follow in Magnolia Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
