Obituary for Valencia Lynn Westry

Ms. Valencia Jean Westry "Lynn" - Born September 28, 1955. A native and resident of Mobile and former resident of Detroit, MI answered her call to eternity Thursday, March 15, 2007. She was preceded in death by her mother and father Essie Mae Westry-Wilson and David Nettles and her stepfather, Ruben Wilson. She leaves to cherish her memories two children, William T. and Antonie Westry, both of Detroit, MI, five sisters, two of which were primary caregivers, Ora Dee (Preston) Murphy and Lettie (Ernest) Parker, Mobile, Eula Rayford, Alfreda Veal and Almeda Cecil all of Detroit, MI; brother James Westry, Jr., Prichard, AL, two aunts, Charlie Bell Holmes and Ella Westry Murphy, both of Mobile, a host of nieces, nephews, many cousins and friends to celebrate her love. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary, Tuesday, March 20, 2007 from 1-8pm and Wednesday, March 21, 2007 after 12 noon until the 2pm funeral hour. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm. Interment will follow in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Diginified and professional services are entrusted to SMALL'S MORTUARY, 950 S. Broad St, Mobile, AL
