Van was one of the nicest people I know and I know he was a great brother. When I think of him I think of songs like Billie Jean, Superstition and more with strong drum beats. That's what I heard coming from his house, the beating of drums. Boy ole boy, the sounds that he would make. He would capture your attention and entertain with his phenomenal talent. Haven't heard anyone play the drums like Van.
Please accept my sincere sympathy in the loss of a great brother. Our faith is so important during this difficult time. I know sometimes things just seem hopeless, but we know that God is real. God will give you the hope and strength you need.
We will continue to be in touch.
