Mr. Van Anthony Miles, Sr., A retired Kimberly Clark employee and longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama exchanged this life for eternity on Wednesday, February 5, 2020.
Van was a devout Catholic and devoted member of St James Major Catholic Church where he served as a n usher for many years.
Van was a graduate of Mattie T. Blount High School Class of 1967. Also, he attended Bishop State Community College.
Van was preceded in death by his parents Wilbert J. Miles, Sr, and Irene Clark-Miles; sisters, Victoria P. Young, Jackie Sanders; and daughter, Bridgette Mason.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife Patricia Sampey Miles; sons, Van Anthony Miles, Jr., Quinton Deon Miles; granddaughters, Justice Mason, Mia Grace Leatherwood; sister, L. Mechelle Spriggs; brother, Wilbert (Gloria) Miles, Jr.; Aunt, Gertrude Jackson; brothers-in-laws, Daniel H. Spriggs, David (Florence) Sampey, James Sampey; Sisters-in-laws, Geraldine Gross, Sarah Sampey; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
