Obituary for Wilfred Osbourne Holder
Mr. Wilfred Osbourne Holder of Mobile Alabama and a native of St. Michael, Barbados, departed this life for eternal rest. He passed away at home, in his sleep, Wednesday, August 5, 2020. He was 88.
Chef Wilfred Holder, retired from The Country Club of Mobile; He was preceded in death by his father, Hurland Patrick; his mother, Letticia Holder; brother, Rudolph Holder and sisters, Phyllis Holder and Ena Carter; son, Wilford Ruggs; daughters, LaWander Ruggs-Pitts, Linda Ruggs and Lois Ruggs. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and dedicated wife of 42 years, Gloria Jean Holder; seven loving children, David Francis, Ricardo Francis, Jennifer Francis, Jacqueline Francis all of St. Michael Barbados, Darry Ruggs, Earnestine (Darrell) Robinson, Hampton VA, April (Ricky) Clarke, Jamaica Queens, NY; sister, Cora Boyce, St. Michael Barbados; dedicated and devoted nephew Curtis Holder and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will truly be missed and forever in our hearts.
