Mr. Willie David Banks, Sr. a life-long resident of Daphne, AL. was born in Monroeville, AL. to the union of the late Levi and Lucy (Johnson) Banks, Sr. on December 16, 1932. Willie departed this life on June 4, 2013 at a local nursing facility. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Idella McCreary Banks. He leaves to cherish his memories five daughters, Lillian Loretta Lawson, Doris (Antonio) Bolton, Gloria (Carl) Wilson, Ivy A. Banks and Kimberly M. Banks; two sons, Willie (Everlean) Banks, Jr. and Percel Banks; three sisters, Mary McCants, Della King and Daisey (Melvin) Mitchell; two brothers-in-law, Roosevelt McCreary and Lovell (Willie Pearl) McCreary; one sister-in-law, Annie M. (Rev. Henry) Bogus; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a devoted nephew, Rev. Starling King, III and niece, Evon White; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 11am at Restorartion Fellowship Ministries 9585 Milton Jones Rd. Daphne, AL.
