Willie James “Tease” Porter of Mobile, Alabama was born January 1, 1952 to his parents Jordan and Nancy Porter of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Tease was called home to be with his heavenly Father on December 12, 2019. Tease was preceded in death by his parents, Jordan and Nancy Porter; and his son, Willie James Porter. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, Gloria Ann McCrory Porter; two daughters: Nitasha Essex and Mary Essex; five step-children: Anitra (Michael), Robert, Lakisha, Lo__ (Amos) and Robert E. McCreary; twenty grandchildren and one great-grandchild; five sisters: Juliet (Sylvester) Cleveland, Josephine (John) Wells, Ellamay Leatherwood, Linda Porter and Annie Smith; two brothers: Jimmy (Brenda) and Danny Porter; five sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law; a devoted brother-in-law and friend, Jerry McCreary; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Tease was a hardworking man who has always provided for his family. He will be truly missed.
