Obituary for Willie Gene Tate
Mr. Willie Gene Tate, age 79, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020 at his residence in Mobile, Alabama. He was born on April 26, 1941 in Putnam, Alabama to the late Will and Annie Mae Tate.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; George Tate, Roy Tate, Leo Tate, James Tate, Daisy Mae Dixon and Joe Tate.
He retired from Scott Paper Company and was currently employed by Twin City Security. He was a faithful member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Prichard, AL.
He is survived by his children, Earnest Tate, Reginald (Lisa) Tate, Kim (Joan) Tate, Gina Tate, and Crystal Dandridge as well as his grandchildren Moranda Tate, Korey Tate, Mia Abrams, Destinee Tate, Mekai Abrams, and Trinity Tate; great granddaughter Annora Tate; and his siblings; Steve (Bernice) Tate and Archie Tate; two sister-in-laws, Mary Tate and Johnnie Lee Tate; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
