Zenith Scott Smith was born on March 24, 1949 to the union of James Edward and Marie Langster Scott in Mobile, AL.
She was preceded in death by her son, father, grandparents; Edward A. and Vester Beuler-Langster and Major and Margaret Scott, brothers; Thomas Martin (Lightning), Charles Lee Scott (Sweet Pea) and James Edward Scott, Jr. (Noonie) and one sister-in-law, Frances Meredith-Scott.
Zenith accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized at Metropolitan A.M.E. Church by the late Rev. H.O. Swanson.
She departed this Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at the home of her caregivers, her sister and brother-in-law, James Etta and Willie Mauldin.
Left to revere her precious memories: her mother, Mrs. Marie Scott; sister and brother-in-law, James Etta (Willie) Mauldin; two brothers, Sylvester Scott and Jonathan Kelly; two devoted nieces, Angela Rodgers, and Domnice Scott; a host of other relatives and friends, one devoted, Carolyn Prince.
