James Lee “Shot” Davis was born in Barlow Bend, Alabama on March 31, 1938 to the late Isaac Davis and Lula White Davis.
A longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama James passed from time into eternity on August 31, 2018.
James was preceded in death by his wife Mollie Singleton Davis, his parents Isaac and Lula Davis, brother Will Edward Davis, sister Roberta Davis Ray, grandparents Jack and Pearlie White and Abraham and Sarah Davis.
James was a graduate of Mobile County Training School.
James served in the U. S. Army and received an honorable discharge.
He was employed at Union Carbide (UOP Honeywell) until his retirement.
James leaves to cherish his memory two sons Ronald Davis and Glenn Davis; one daughter Jayme Reynolds, stepdaughter Stephanie Figgers, stepson Stephane Figgers, grandchildren Shannon (Norman) White, II, Jaron Davis and JaRhonda Davis, great grandchild Norman White III. A special friend Eleanor Sanders and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
