Cloria Ann  Baker
Cloria Ann Baker was born on April 23, 1948 in Alabama to Mr. Andrew Baker and Mrs. Ceola
Baker. She graduated from Manuel Arts High School of Los Angeles, California in 1967. She was
also known as a devoted mother,Aunt, daughter,sister, niece, cousin, and friend, enjoyed being
with family and taking part in recreaonal acvies and social events, really enjoyed playing Bingo and spending me with many of her long-me friends. Nothing put a smile on her face like sharing precious moments with her children and grandchildren during the Christmas Holidays. She really liked marveling at her Christmas decoraon while eang good food and laughing with her
family. She rered as a nurse for Searcy Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Alabama where she cared for countless paents and made many friends. Throughout her life she worked hard to provide for her sons and
dedicated her life to ensuring that they would grow to be succescsful men.
During Cloria’s adult life she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Then joined St. John
AOH Church of God.
Cloria was especially close to her siblings but leaves behind a devoted brother, James D. Baker,
who was there by her side unl
her unmely demise. A devoted daughter-in law Codie Baker, a devoted friend Bey
Collins and devoted neices Nola Boxley, and Alfreda Baker who were by her
side through her later health struggles. Cloria is preceded in death by her father; Andrew Baker
Sr.,her mother; Ceola Baker, her grandfather; Wilson Baker, her brothers; Andrew Baker Jr., and
William (Lula) Baker, and her sister Mary Packer and Ronnie Baker.
Cloria leaves to treasure in her memory her beloved sons: James (Sandra)Baker Terrance Baker,
Phillip Baker, Gerald Baker, and Ronald (Angela) Baker, grandchildren; Ronald Ausn
Baker,
Madison Bell, Courtney Baker, Jocquell Graham, Chandler Millender, Nikia Westry, Myron Antonio
Penn, Jamal Baker,sisters; Eldora Norfleet of Mobile, Alabama, Ola Mae Roberson of Mt. Vernon,
Alabama, Ouida Baker of Los Angeles, Rubie Ridgeway of Los Angeles, a brother; James D. Baker,
of Mt.Vernon, two devoted nephews; Joseph Packer,Maurice Baker, Sr. and a devoted niece
Yvonne Baker, and a host of more nieces and nephews.
Cloria Ann Baker was a blessing to everyone that knew her. She has gone but will always be
remembered

Her remains will lie in state 5-8pm Friday, February 24, 2017 at Small’ s Mortuary, Mobile. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at the Saint John AOH Church OF God, 1620 West Main Street, Prichard, AL. Interment will follow in the Morning Star Cemetery, Mount Vernon, AL.
