Roderic  Yelding
Roderic Michael Yelding, a native and resident of Daphne, Alabama, was born March 31, 1989 to the union of Chanda Brown Yelding and Alaric Bernard Yelding. He departed this life on Saturday, May 6, 2017. Roderic graduated in the Class of 2007 from Daphne High School. After graduation, he enlisted and completed training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He served in U.S. Air Force for 4 years. After serving in the military, Roderic worked at Austal Ship Building Company. Then, he found a love for sales.

He was preceded in death by grandmother, Elizabeth Stokes Yelding and grandfathers, Bailey Yelding, Jr. and Nimrod Brown, Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memories, loving and devoted parents Chanda and Alaric Yelding; brother, Patrick Yelding, of Nashville, TN; Fiance`, Lindsay Guy of Daphne, AL; grandmother, Ollivette Brown, of Citronelle, AL; aunts, Phyllis Creagh of Citronelle, AL, Erika (Darryl) Ford of Daphne, AL; uncles, Derrick Yelding, Cedric (Phyllis) Yelding, Sr. of Daphne, AL, Michael Brown, Sr. of Citronelle, AL; nineteen great aunts; twelve great uncles; a host of cousins; three God brothers; one God sister; many other relatives and friends; and special friends, Jerome Larry, Whitney Love, Darius Jenkins and Chase Boyce

Mr. Yelding's remains will lie in state on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 1;00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Small's Mortuary, Daphne. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 902 Daphne Avenue, Daphne, AL. Pastor Charles A. Jackson, Officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Memorial Gardens, Daphne, AL where military honors will be presented by the United States Air Force.
