Jesse James  Williams
Mr. Jesse James Williams, a native of Mobile, Alabama, born July 15, 1944, departed this life to eternity on Thursday June 15, 2017 in the comfort of his home.

He was the oldest son of the late Ruby (Williams) Collier, of Mobile, AL.
Mr. Williams was married to Mrs. Barbara Dortch. They were married 51 years.
Mr. Williams worked as a bus driver for Mobile County School System for 23 years. He enjoyed fishing, culinary arts, dancing, and music.

He is survived by a loving family and devoted wife, Mrs. Barbara Williams; a daughter and two sons, Mrs. Carol (William) McSwain, Mr. Reginald (Regina) Williams, and Mr. DeJuan (Tonya) Williams all of Mobile, AL; 15 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren all natives of Mobile, AL; four sisters, Ms. Lenora, Ms. Doris, Ms. Renee, and Ms. Leisia Collier, of Mobile, AL; two brothers, Mr. Cleveland Johnson and Mr. John Collier, of Mobile, AL; two brother-in-laws, Mr. Joseph Michael Dortch, and Mr. Ronald Horner Sr., of Mobile, AL; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Annette (Jesse) Petite, of Phoenix, AZ; two uncles, Mr. James (Irma) Owens, of Ohio and Mr. Isadore (Annie) Williams, of Mobile, AL.; an aunt, Ms. Betty Williams, of Chicago, IL.; a host of nieces, nephews; and devoted friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Truelight MB Church, 2001 West Main Street, Prichard, AL

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Mrs. Barbara Williams. The family of Mr. Jesse James Williams wishes to thank the members of True Light Missionary Baptist Church, Stone Street Baptist Church, and Smalls Mortuary. Repass will commence at True Light Missionary Baptist Church.
