Raymond  Taylor
Raymond Taylor, a native of Mobile, Alabama, born July 16, 1936, departed this life on Friday, August 4th, 2017 in his home in Daphne, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Lawrence Taylor and Annie Marie Spencer Taylor; his spouse, Frances Brown Taylor; two sisters, Carolyn Taylor Willis and Beverly Ann Taylor Finklea.

Raymond was an active member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, and was a distinguished member of The Knights of Peter Claver. Raymond attended Most Pure Heart of Mary High School. He served four years in the United States Air Force and went on to attend the Veterans Cooking and Baking School. Raymond moved to the Bronx, New York with his wife, Frances, where he managed franchise restaurants. His success culminated in his successfully owning and operating two restaurants in New York City.
Raymond was loved and respected by many people and was known for his kindness, humility, generosity, wisdom and loyalty to family. He was a humble and devoted servant of God.

Raymond leaves to cherish his precious memories and celebrate his life, a loving daughter, Raymi Teresa Taylor, Portland, OR; three sisters, Gwendolyn Taylor, Sacramento, California; Brenda (Gary) Newman, Avondale Estates, Georgia, and Elaine Taylor Robinson; three brothers, Lorenzo Taylor, Mobile, Alabama; Phillip (Elaine) Taylor, Suwanee, Georgia; Larry (Barbara) Taylor, Mobile, Alabama; one devoted cousin, Demaris Brown, Mobile, Alabama; one dedicated sister in law, Alice Lewis, Mobile, Alabama; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends. Raymond will be deeply missed, but remembered with all the love he gave to those who knew him.

Mass Of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, 9am, at the Most Pure Heart Of Mary Church, 304 Sengstak Street, Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in the Catholic Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
