Obituary for Annie B. Brand
Annie Brand, a native of Mobile, Alabama, was born on September 30, 1952 went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 28, 2017.
She was employed by Mobile County Public School System as a bus driver for over 15 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents Watson Sr. & Eliza Brand, two sisters Zelma Harrison and Martha Brand; two brothers Watson Brand Jr. & Don Brand.
She leaves to cherish her memories three children: Harlos (LaSheta) Brand, Shantea Brand & Kaleem Brand all of Mobile, AL. twelve grandchildren, & 5 great-grandchildren all of Mobile, AL. Three sisters: Georgia (Rev. John) Harris Sr., Rosie Brand of Mobile, AL and Shirley (Frank) Finklea of Dorchester, MA. Four brothers: Mustafa Madyun, Bobby (Shelia) Brand, Jerry (Brenda) Brand and Michael (Alunie) Brand all of Mobile, AL. She is remembered with love by Karen (Cecil) Pettiford & LaTonja (Thomas) Powe and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Her remains will lie in state on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 1-8pm at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile, Alabama
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 10am until the 12pm funeral hour at El Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, 1200 Gayle Street, Mobile, Alabama. Interment will follow in Lawn Haven Cemetery, Theodore, Alabama.
