Mrs. Sharon D. Dortch, was born December 19, 1966 to the late Henry and Toreather Dortch Edwards, she departed this worldly life on Sunday, October 1, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her 4 siblings, Linda Faye Dortch, Chaney S. Dortch Roy Lee Bettis and Charles Dortch.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Matthew, Jr., 5 children, Horace, Dache, Matthew,lll, Joshua (Keisha)and A'Ladryn. and her grandson, Matthew, IV (Charlston)
2 devoted sisters, Rochell Dortch and Joann(Edward) Barnes, 2 devoted brothers, Lebarron Dortch and Terry Dortch, a host of nieces, 2 devoted, Tiffany Dortch and Alaysia Dortch, grand nieces, a host of nephews, and grand nephews other relatives and friends, 1 devoted Mrs. Evelyn Porter
Sharon's is going to be missed by many, for her sharp wit, love of family, a sense of humor, without boundaries, her cache of family history. She was the baby, but she stored all of the families memories. She forgot nothing. Saying that, we lost the matriarch of the family. Now, it is left to us to gather and store away precious memories.
She had a special kind of relationship with her neighbors, her neighborhood, her children's schools, her family and friends.
Sharon was a survivalist, with a keen intelligence. She deserved a listen to, because she listened, observed and learned well.
We love you, dear wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend, Always and forever.

Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Theodore Chapel after 12 noon until the 2 pm funeral hour. Interment will follow in the Whispering Pines Cemetery.
