Pamela H.  Pettway
Pamela Hunt Pettway was born on April 7, 1962. She passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 30, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Jerry Pettway, Father John Smith, and brothers Gary & Timothy Smith; also, one of her best friends Thera Westbrook.

She was a member of Revelation Missionary Baptist Church of Mobile, Alabama under Pastor David L Frazier, Sr.

She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by: Mother (Alice Hunt), Three devoted daughters: Allison, Jerrica Hunt of Mobile, Caterrica (Jaleel) Walker (Savannah,GA). Four Precious Grandchildren: Tavarrez Jr, Alexavier Poellnitz, (Mobile, AL) Jaleel Jr, and Bella Walker (Savannah, GA). Five Sisters: Gwendolyn Betts(Charles), Vickie(Fredrick) Dunson, Patty Hunt, Adrienne Smith, Miriam (Curtis) Davidson.
Seven Brothers: Larry (Gwendolyn) Hunt, Wayne, Tony(Shirley) Hunt, John Smith Jr, Mark Smith, Ronald Pettway, and Broderick Jordan. Sisters in Law: Mary and Amy Pettway. Brothers in Law: Don, Charlie, and Bill-Zack Pettway. Eight devoted nieces and nephews: Tracy Pass, Nicole Gilmore, Chan Roberts, Jessica, Kierra, James, Donte, and Edward Hunt. Devoted cousins: Gloria Scott and Gayle Green. Best Friends: Roselyn Brown and Sophie Davidson, Connie Simmons, Betty Lucey and Denise Lewis; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pam was a cheerful, fun loving, caring person who was full of life. She loved to spend time with family and friends, laughing and always wearing a smile on her face. An incredible mother, sister aunt and friend, always thinking of others first she will be truly missed by many.

Special thanks to Dr. Connie Uzel, Dr. Randy Dotson, Dr. Mark Wiles and 4200 of Springhill Medical Group, Sadds Home Hospice, and Covenant Hospice Care of Providence Hospital.

Her remains will lie in state on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 1-8pm at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile, AL.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 11am until the 1pm “Celebration Of Life” hour at Revelation MB Church, 1711 Taylor Lane, Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
