Obituary for Earl Adams
Mr. Earl Adams a native of Mobile, AL, exchanged this life for a life of eternity on November 20, 2017. He was born on June 6, 1961, to the union of Nelson Adams, Sr. and Louisa Pope Adams.
Earl was the youngest brother of eight children; six sisters and one brother. Earl was a 1979 graduate of W.P. Davidson High School and was employed at Home Depot for more than 25 years.
Earl is survived by a devoted, loving mate, Maejoyce Dawkins; daughters, Ashley (Antonio) Rayford, Darnisha (Gary) Heron, Marie Dawkins, Tyhesha Dawkins, and Stephanie Dawkins all of Mobile, AL; two sons, Scott (Patrice) Dawkins and Detrick Dawkins both of Mobile; a host of grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Earl devoted much of his time to being caregiver to his many dogs. His calm quiet demeanor will be truly missed.
His remains will lie in state 5-8pm Friday, December 1, 2017 at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile. A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Small’s Mortuary Chapel, 950 South Broad Street, Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in the Gethsemane Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
