Allen Jerome Redd (Peanut) was born in Fort Deposit, AL on August 9, 1955 and departed this life for eternity on Sunday, December 3, 2017 in Mobile, AL.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Redd, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Doris Thomas Redd; his devoted partner, Sandra Coleman; one son, LiMontrio (Demekia) Portis; one daughter, Amber Coleman; one grandson, Dewayne Portis; two sisters, Mary Ann Redd and Paula Redd; five brothers, Charles (Linda) Redd, Thomas Redd, David Redd, Kenneth (Meshia) Redd, Sr., Curtis Redd, Sr.; two step-children, Pecola Coleman and Nicholas (Kim) Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour in Small’s Mortuary Chapel, Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in Whispering Pines Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL
