Mr. Jake Houston, Sr. was born on March 3, 1934. He departed this life for his eternal home on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at a local hospital.

His remains will lie in state on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 5- 8 pm at Small's Mortuary, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 10am until the 12pm Homegoing Celebration at First Baptist Church Of Baltimore Street, Inc. (Pastor Melvin Clark), 1200 Baltimore Street, Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in the Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, AL..
