Obituary for James Earl Rocker

James Earl  Rocker
James Earl Rocker, a native and life-long resident of Mobile, Alabama departed this earthly life to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.

Mr. Rocker retired from the United States Army with the rank of Master Sergeant. His accomplishments while serving included being a Drill Sergeant, a member of the Airborne Community with a Jump Master Certification. Mr. Rocker was also a Vietnam Veteran.

Mr. Rocker was preceded in death by his father, James Rocker. He is survived by his mother, Catherine Rocker, sister, Mary (George) Bryant and brother, Adriaen (Cathy) Rocker.

He leaves to cherish his memories five daughters: Annette Halter, Tami Morgan, Jaime Rocker, JoAnna (DeBoris) Williams and Jenna and Jadah Rocker. He also leaves three sons: James, Jimmie and Jerome Metzner. His memory will also be cherished by his devoted nephew, Demond Bryant and nieces Adice (Eric) Smith and Dionica (Thamus) Davis.

Mr. Rocker will forever be remembered by his 26 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He also leaves to cherish his memory his devoted companion, Ivory Walker, and a host of family and friends.
