Audrey Dixon Nealy, age 88, was called to her eternal home early Tuesday morning at her residence on May 8, 2018. She was born, October 7, 1929, in Lyman, Mississippi to the union of Archie Dixon and Mary Dillard Dixon Copeland but moved to Mobile, AL at a young age.

She was preceded in death by her parents, as an infant, her only sibling and older brother, Junior Dixon; stepfather, Isaac Copeland; son, John Nealy, Jr.; foster sister, Dorothy Tricksey; foster nephew, Mitchell Tricksey; son-in-law, Gregory Morris; grandson, Demond Thomas; granddaughters, Mary Nealy and Megan Hamilton.
She was the beloved wife of John Henry Nealy, Sr.

Audrey is survived by her husband: John; five daughters: Sonja Saizan, Tydell Whitfield (Joseph) of New Orleans, LA, Elizabeth Nealy, Gina Morris of Houston, TX, and Deirdre Nealy-Hamilton of Mobile, AL; daughter-in-law: Durinda Thomas Nealy. She also leaves to cherish her memories, grandchildren: Torrance Nealy (Na Tisha), Kendall Morris (Genera), Dalyn Morris (Juniece), Kortni Nealy, Charlene Nealy (Derrick), Kristen Collins (Robert), Tydell Thomas, Duvonna Nealy, Isaac Nealy, Bradley Hamilton, and Jeanine Davis Nicholas; former son-in-law: Henry Hamilton; foster niece: Angela Edwards; goddaughter: Latonya Wells-Horne and Elicia Jaxon-Sutton; a sister friend: Irma Coleman; a host of great and great, great grandchildren; many, many extended sons and daughters; and numerous friends.

Relatives and friends of Tulane Memorial Baptist Church, New Orleans, LA, Brentwood Baptist Church, Houston, TX, Mobile County Public School System, and the Sweet Pilgrim Baptist Church, Mobile, AL, are invited to attend the Celebration of Life on Monday, May 14, 2018, at Sweet Pilgrim B.C., 359 St. Charles Ave., 36617. Visitation 9am until the 11am funeral service, Rev. Julius C. Bryant, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
