Obituary for Samuel Young
Samuel “Sam” Young, age 63, departed his earthly life on Friday, May 18, 2018.
He leaves to cherish his memories to a loving and devoted wife of more than 29 years: Linda Kelley Young; two daughters: Samara (Edmond) Young Longo of Dallas, TX and Latasha Freed of Dallas, TX; one grandson: Avian Byrce Williams “Paw Paw Buddy” of Dallas, TX; father: Samuel Washington of Mobile, AL; a host of other relatives and friends.
His remains will lie in state on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 5pm to 8pm at Smalls Mortuary, Mobile, AL. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at New Faith Baptist Church, 1808 Halls Mill Road, Mobile, Alabama. Interment will follow in Lawn Haven Cemetery, Theodore, Alabama.
