Brother Mark L. Dale blessed this earth with his birth on November 11, 1964, to John L. Dale, who preceded him in death, and Inez Dale of Daphne, AL. He departed this earthly life to transcend to his heavenly home, not made by man, on May 19, 2018 at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, AL.

Brother Mark L. Dale was also very athletic during his school years and received many awards. He later served in the United States Army until he was honorably discharged due to his health. He continued to further his education in the medical field. Mark received his certification from Bishop State College as a Certified Nurse's Assistant. Mark was an outgoing and upbeat person throughout his life until his death. He was a devoted son, brother, father, and husband.

Brother Mark Dale was also preceded in death his brother, Gary L. Dale; sister, Patricia Johnson; and grandparents, Sam and Alice Bradley.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories that will forever linger in our hearts, to his devoted wife, Grissetta Dale; his loving mother, Inez Dale of Daphne, AL; three children, Markesha Hopkins of Daphne, AL, Markeya (Chad) Hackney of Atlanta, GA, and Mareon Williams of Atlanta, GA; one stepdaughter, Valencia Wilson of Daphne, AL; one devoted sister, Jean Weeks of Daphne, AL - who assisted him with life-sustaining support which ultimately extended his life; one devoted uncle, Sam Bradley of Daphne, AL; three precious aunts, Ruth Dale Hamilton of Hallandale, FL, Hazel Dale Hamilton of Detroit, MI, and Mary Dale Baker of Antioch, CA; one uncle, Willie Dale of Africa; one great aunt, Mattie Bodiford of CA; one lovely granddaughter, Bailey Gremillion of Atlanta, GA; a loveable grandson, Keilan Baker; one devoted godfather, Bishop Willie L. Williams of Atmore, AL; three loving sisters-in-law, Carol Brock, Regina Gwen, Marsha Foster, all of Thomasville, AL; a devoted friend/brother, Jerome Pruitt of Daphne, AL; several devoted friends, Darren Hardin of Fresno, CA, Mark Pettis of Fairhope, AL, Walter Northcutt and Labaron Mitchell; and a host of other relatives and friends.

His remains will lie in state on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Small’s Mortuary, 8822 County Road 64, Daphne, AL.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at African Universal Church, 8355 Jonesboro Road, Daphne, AL. Minister Cassandra Boykin, Pastor. Interment will follow in Jubilee Memorial Gardens, Daphne, AL
