Verma Kilpatrick was born on April 8, 1935 and departed this life for her eternal home on Wednesday, September 27, 2017.
She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter: Debra Kilpatrick Dorsey(Winston); one son: Calvin Jerone Kilpatrick; a devoted neice: Yolanda Powe Madison(Anthony) ; three sisters: Mary Powe Washington, Marva Powe, Juanita Powe; one brother: Jesse Charles Powe(Sharon);six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; seven nieces; three nephews; a devoted daughter-in-law: Lajuana Kilpatrick Anderson; other family members and friends.
Her remains will lie in state on Friday, October 6, 2017, from 3-7pm at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile, Alabama.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 8am until the 10am funeral hour at Cedar Grove MB Church, 210 West Clark Avenue, Prichard, Alabama. Interment will follow in Whispering Pines Cemetery, Eight Mile, Alabama.
