Obituary for Grace Reeves

Grace Perry Reeves - A devoted mother, grandmother and sister. A native of Sprott, AL. and a resident of Mobile born February 8, 1929 to the late Burt and Rosie Perry Morton, departed this life Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at a local hospital. She was a member of New Old Grove Baptist Church, Sprott, AL under the leadership of Rev. N. M. Carter, after moving to Mobile she united with Downtown Fellowship. She was preceded in death by her son, John T. Harris. She leaves to cherish her memories her pride and joy five daughters, Ruby (Willie) Thomas, Selma, AL., Annie Wilkerson, Willsey (Freddy) Smart, Barbara Harris and Brenda Smart, all of Mobile, eleven grands, eighteen great-grands, four sisters, Dorothy (Jesse) Moore, NY, Mary (Lloyd) Harrison, MI, Lillie (Wesley) Wright, SC, Sueann Morton and two brothers, David (Geneva) and Rozell Morton, all of Selma, AL, daughter-in-law, Estelle Harris a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in state in the chapel of Small's Mortuary, Friday, March 16, 2007 from 1-8pm and Saturday, March 17, 2007 after 12noon until the 2pm funeral hour. Interment in Gethsemane, Mobile. Dignified and professional services are entrusted to SMALL'S MORTUARY, 950 S. Broad St, Mobile, AL
