Carrie Mae  Quinnie
Carrie Mae Quinnie-- A native and resident of Theodore, Alabama was born May 15, 1936 to the late Callene Williams and Mose Reese. She departed this earth to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday March 27, 2017. She devoted her life to Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Ararat Baptist Church where she remained a faithful member until her health failed. She was preceded in death by her husband; Roosevelt Quinnie, four sons; Roosevelt Quinnie, Larry Quinnie, Michael Quinnie, Donald Quinnie and her daughter Linda Elliott and grandson Tony Elliott.
She leaves to cherish her memory three devoted children; Willie (Rosie) Quinnie, Clifton (Stephanie) Quinnie, and Annette Quinnie, 16 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in state Saturday, April 1, 2017 after 10 am until the 12:00 pm funeral hour at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church 5201 Washington Blvd. Theodore Alabama 36582, Rev. Howard Nelson Pastor.
