Obituary for Carolyn Anderson
Carolyn Anderson was born February 13, 1960 and departed this life for her eternal home on Saturday, April 15, 2017. She was a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL.
She was preceded in death by her son, Travis Andre Anderson and father, Eunice Lee Anderson.
She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Dorothy Anderson; two sons, Kushon M. (Christie) Anderson and Edward K. (Tia) Anderson; one daughter, Jacqueta King; daughter-in-law, Samantha Anderson; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Bodie of Florence, AL and Cheryl (LeBarron) Plenty of Jacksonville, FL; four brothers, Pastor Roderick (Linda) Anderson of Montgomery, AL, Derek (Denise) Anderson of Mobile, AL, Michael Anderson and Eunice (Dorothy) Kimbrough of Arlington, AL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Her remains will lie in state on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 5-8pm at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile. A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at the Mobile Baptist Sunlight District Auditorium, 809 Seminary Street, Prichard, AL., Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in the Whispering Pines Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL.
